I played on this team from 2016-2025 and started almost every single game. This sport taught me the importance of commitment and dedication to a team and to myself.

I played for Guilderland High School’s girls varsity soccer team from 2022-2025. Playing for my high school team helped me learn to not give up on my goals just because the results aren’t what I expected. I learned to keep working hard no matter what the outcome is.

This is a spring sport at my high school where I was able to work with students with disabilities and teach them dances and cheers to support the unified basketball team. This was an amazing experience that helped me learn how to work with students of all different kinds.

This is a select choir at my high school that I had to audition to get into. It is for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. I got in my sophomore year and I learned the importance of time management and dedication in order to improve the group as a whole.

This is a musical theater club at my school that puts on spring musicals each year. I was in the Music Man, Beauty and the Beast, Something Rotten, and my Favorite Year. I started out with smaller roles, but as I continued to grow and improve as a musician I eventually started earning more featured roles.

This is a club at my high school that had meetings once a month. We would learn about cool experiments and the chemistry behind why they worked. We would then make the experiments after learning about them.

This job taught me how to schedule appointments, speak on the phone and in person with customers, keep the salon clean and neat, and be organized and communicate with the other receptionists. Working as a receptionist for two years while also going to school, playing soccer, and being involved in musical activities taught me the importance of time management and having an organized schedule. I also gained lots of confidence in my communication skills both with my co-workers and with customers.

My main responsibilities at this summer camp were working with kids, helping dance in biweekly camp shows, speaking with parents, and checking kids in and out of camp. This was my first year at this camp and I learned a lot about teamwork, and putting effort into my job outside of work.

This job is at the same summer camp as previously stated, but I was promoted. My main responsibilities after being promoted were working with kids, planning music, dances, and props for biweekly camp shows, speaking with parents, checking kids in and out of camp, and teaching entertainment directors and kids the dances for the shows. Being director was much harder than just being a counselor. I had put a lot more time into the job and work independently a lot of the time, but I also had to work with others to teach everyone at the camp the dances and music I put together. I had to have very good communication skills for this job in order to have others listen to me, but also respect me.
